I just watched Ryan Trecartin's "I Be Area" and Mike Kelly's "Day Is Done" back to back in the theater and then had long conversations about them all night. Everything seems so meaningful, like we are constantly finding evidence of another piece of some fucked up puzzle. Sometimes its like banging your head against the wall but you can feel all the little chunks of concrete and it feels sort of good when you notice how they relate at the same moment. HA!
